Using e-sword
Gen 1:1 In the beginning H7225 (OT is HEBREW, remember) (remember, too, that God doesn’t live in “time” as we know time. There are no clocks in heaven. Time was created for earth. He set specific time periods for the Jews, for the church age, for the Tribulation, the Millennium, etc… but beyond this universe, there is no time. Have you ever studied this topic through Chuck Missler? Very interesting phenomena.)
So, is “in the beginning” saying “in the beginning of time as we know it?” It no way means “at the onset of God’s creation” because we know Satan AND OTHER ANGELS lived before this “void chaos” was made.
H7225
ר?א?ש?ׁ?י?ת?
rê^'shıî^yth
ray-sheeth'
From the same as H7218; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically a firstfruit): - beginning, chief (-est), first (-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
The word “time” is jumping off the page at me. Also the word “order.”
H7218
ר?א?ש?ׁ?

From an unused root apparently meaning to shake; the head (as most easily shaken), whether literally or figuratively (in many applications, of place, time, rank, etc.): - band, beginning, captain, chapiter, chief (-est place, man, things), company, end, X every [man], excellent, first, forefront, ([be-]) head, height, (on) high (-est part, [priest]), X lead, X poor, principal, ruler, sum, top.
Now go to John 1:1 (switched from Hebrew language to Greek)

From G756; (properly abstract) a commencement, or (concrete) chief (in various applications of order, time, place or rank): - beginning, corner, (at the, the) first (estate), magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule.
magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule These words also stand out to me when I realize that at this point in God’s creation, He had already cast Satan from heaven to be “prince of the air”… of this place!
G756
αa̓?́ρ?χ?ο?μαaι?
archomai
ar'-khom-ahee

LIBERTY/FREEDOM
Fibromom’s favorite verse in all of the Scriptures:
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (KJV)
Somehow, I memorized it this way: For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
This verse has helped deliver me from false religious teachings, from making decisions that would not glorify Christ, and from the everyday lies and deceptions from this world, my flesh and the devil that would bend, twist, darken and camouflage my path to God.
