Here you will find a work in progress. I am attempting to collect recommendations of excellent resource materials for people with disabilities not necessarily restricted to but appropriate for Fibromyalgia. Please join me in my search.
www.fibrotalk.com Come find me (fibromom) here. Visit me at My Diary and also go to the Message Board where you’ll meet some wonderful people, all of whom are learning and being encouraged TOGETHER! It’s a fantastic, busy, always-up-to-date site offering services such as:
Note: most of the folks there aren’t familiar with the Guaifenesin Protocol. Keep coming back to www.bittermansbanners.com or go to www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com to learn about that! IT’S WELL WORTH YOUR EFFORT!
www.disabilityinfo.gov Explains your rights as a person with a disability (FIBROMYALGIA IS IDENTIFIED BY THE GOVT AS A “LEGIT” DISABILITY) and offers avenues of help (within the U.S. govt)
www.fms-help.com Apparently a website created by Christians offering encouragement for victims of Fibro, Chronic Fatigue, and Myalgic Encephalomylitis (all 3 the same dragon as far as I’m concerned.)
www.curezone.com/forums Search for Colloidal Silver forum (colloidal silver is a trace element missing from our diets today. It helps to SIGNIFICANTLY build the IMMUNE SYSTEM and helps fight over 450 virus’, bacteria, and fungi.) I USE IT DAILY and rarely ever catch whatever’s going around!
http://www.medicinenet.com/fibromyalgia-pictures-slideshow/article.htm This slideshow depicts, sort of, the pain and agony that victims of fms face. Most of the info on the slideshow is true of my condition EXECEPT the pics of “exercise.” I snickered at those!!! Not possible for me... no way, no how. Remember, that FIBRO is a completely individualized syndrome. A huge variance in severity of symptoms exists in the fms community.
