"SNOWMEN" for daughter, double bed size. Laboring continually but enjoying it all (fabric choices are a HUGE ISSUE for me as I get bored easily.) The peach-colored fabric is actually a linen which was fun to blend in with the cottons. If you look closely at this quilt’s center, you will see the “ hidden cross” I formed by strategically positioning certain colored/patterned squares. I used buttons to “tie” this quilt. I think this took 4 months to complete, my husband assisting me with the layering of the cover, batting and backing. I’m not sure I’ll ever attempt another quilt this size. I had a hard time staying focused and motivated, though watching my daughter enjoy this labor of love so much is GOOD MEDICINE to this Momma’s heart!
