I make up my own patterns, so much of the time is spent in the initial foundational work.  My sweet friend, Elaine, is a pseudo-mom to me, so I wanted to try to put a bit of variety into this pattern, allowing her to see all that I’ve accomplished. She’s a freak for cats and is severely disabled and housebound, so all of these bright colors and fun prints helped to make her “feel” the outdoors.
