My Service PIG

YES, I said PIG! Here, I will write details about the training of my baby Mrs. Hoggett!

Why in the world would I choose a Pot-Bellied Pig as my Service Animal? I’ve heard/ read/ learned that pigs:

  • are extremely smart (“the smartest of 4-footed mammals” some say!)
  • are hypo-allergenic (no hair, just bristles!) and
  • are EXTREMELY clean animals (if given the environment).
  • are STRONG
  • are “companion” type beasts
  • love attention
  • will bond closely to their owners if trained that way.

Yet, I have GoodOne. Why do I need a pig? In nutshell, I might need help with walking and balance in time (see my Progress Notes under Guaifenesin Protocol.) A pig with a “guide dog harness” [handle] might be the the answer to my ambulation problems.

Wag your piggy tails and come along with me into this NEW ADVENTURE.
