I resigned from my post at the Chamber of Commerce in July ‘09 and that stress reduction HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.  Also, I’ve discovered (specific blood tests) that I have systemic candida fungal infection in the mucosal tissues. I started Nystatin on Jan. 4 and Diflucan on Feb 6 (see my page on that treatment protocol).  I’ve also been very negligent on the Guai protocol as I will soon start HERBAL TREATMENT for nurturing the liver (the medication Diflucan is toxic.)  Consider, too, that pulling all the dead fungi out of the system will flood the bloodstream which, in turn could stress the liver. As you know, the Guai protocol is ineffective if salicilates (herbal treatments) are present. It’s a roller coaster ride, not a balanced “pure” treatment option at all.

The fms/cfs symptoms that the Guai Protocol so effectively goes to work on are returning, mostly manifesting as PAIN, FATIGUE AND CONSTIPATION!

Yet, when looking back to almost a year ago, I HAVE MADE HUGE PROGRESS.  In fact, I play such an active role in our real estate business (www.desertlakerealty.com) these days that my husband and I just recently returned from a 4-day “brainstorming/planning session” together to improve our company. The key word here is BRAIN. The fog and visual disturbances have minimized in this past year!

April 9, 2009: My biggest decision of the day is whether or not to shower and get dressed. HARD TIMES right now.

Just verbally turned in my resignation to my broker/husband this morning. I can't take the eye strain of even part-time real estate work (almost 100% computer) any more. Don't have the $ nor the insurance to get glasses.

Also, started back on the Guai protocol this a.m. so the symptoms will begin to SLAM ME BIG TIME by tomorrow at this time. (ugh.) If the protocol works for me as well as it did previously, I'll eventually (months down the road) see fms improvement as the protocol will put it into semi-remission!

I’ll stay on as President of the Republic Area Chamber of Commerce (www.republicchamber.org) as long as I can. I’ll keep fighting this DD one hour, one day, one week at a time.
