We are here this day to offer help and encouragement to YOU in this confusing, chaotic, frightening, RAPIDLY CHANGING WORLD. This website is fairly expansive; we currently offer you over 100 pages of varied topics having to do with the HERE AND NOW (including pages dedicated to 2012, transhumanism, biotechnology, etc; see Signs of the Times page and others.)

We believe that all battles we fight are primarily SPIRITUAL and begin in the MIND (Fibromom KNOWS physical debilitation and can still say this.)  We have no agenda other than to glorify Christ by giving Him reign over our lives. We, like the Christians of the 1st century A.D., are a body of redeemed, sincere believers and servants of THE Christ, united by Him and praying for each other and for you. Our “statement of faith” is a simple one:

we believe that the Christian Bible,

translated as closely to the original Hebrew and Greek texts,

context and meaning as possible,

is the only infallible Word of God

and we strive to live by God’s teachings in it.

Our field of vision has expanded considerably since the conception of Bitterman’s Banners (click on the About Us page.) Originally, this website was created to present victims of chronic diseases, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue in particular, a cyber-home to warm weary souls. However, as the world becomes more and more unsure, (again, 2012 requires serious consideration), we are seeing a need to reach out to people NOT NECESSARILY AFFLICTED WITH CHRONIC DISEASE at all but who are sensing unrest in their “gut,” the very depths of themselves. They can FEEL that “something isn’t right” but they just can’t put their fingers on “it.”  We have answers for you.  Please click on the page entitled “Signs of the Times.”

We pray that our love for Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible is evident to all who read and call on us for help and friendship! If you are searching for WHAT’S REAL, for THE ANSWER TO THE PURPOSE OF YOUR LIFE, give this website a chance.  Quiet your environment and read on.
