This website is a gift from God through us to you. It is fairly expansive; over 100 pages of varied topics having to do with the HERE AND NOW (including pages dedicated to 2012) await you. Originally, Bitterman’s Banners was created to present victims of chronic diseases a cyber-home to warm your weary souls. Fibromyalgia (FMS) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) in particular were the initial focus but we soon realized that many people with different debilitating situations could benefit as well.

Our field of vision has expanded considerably since the conception of Bitterman’s Banners; as the world becomes more and more chaotic and frightening (again, 2012 requires serious consideration,) we are seeing a need to reach out to people NOT NECESSARILY AFFLICTED WITH CHRONIC DISEASE at all but who are sensing unrest in their “gut,” the very depths of themselves. They can FEEL that “something isn’t right” but they just can’t put their fingers on “it.”  We have answers for you.  Please click on the page entitled “Signs of the Times.”

We pray that our love for Jesus Christ is evident to all who read and call on us for help and friendship.  Here, you will find no confusion about how important we view prayer to the Creator of the universe. We will use the Holy Scriptures frequently as we reach out to you. If you find praising the LORD Jesus Christ offensive, this is not the place for you. However, if you desire to know Jesus the CHRIST (Messiah) or already have a deep relationship with Him but need the fellowship of true believers, LET US REJOICE that we have found each other. Come read our testimonies to see what Christ has done for each of us and PLEASE share with us how Jesus Christ is working in YOUR life.

To be sure, this is not a “church” in the social use of the term, but here you will find the true church as described in God’s Word, a body of redeemed, sincere believers and servants of the Christ united by the One True God and praying for each other and for you. We are not affiliated in any way with organized religion; our “statement of faith” is a simple one:  we believe that the Christian Bible, translated as closely to the original Hebrew and Greek  texts, context and meaning as possible, is the only infallible Word of God and we strive to live by God’s teachings in it.

Finally, but necessary, This site is entirely personal and non-profit. I am a (hobby) researcher, not a physician, professional counselor nor psychotherapist and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any material located offsite nor be responsible for any third-party interpretation of my material. For specifics on your situation, I encourage you to consult your own personal health care team or other experts in the various fields of interest to you.

• Hold your cursor over each teal-colored page title at the left of this screen.  Many additional page titles on that particular subject will appear.  Slowly scroll onto each page title that appears and click ONCE to view a particular page of interest.
• If you get lost within the site (it’s fairly large), simply return to the “home” page title and begin the scrolling process once again.

• Do you know places, “urgent care centers,” so to speak, that REALLY offer EMERGENCY SERVICES to those in URGENT NEED?
